The story that you are part of goes on without you. The part that you decide to put in is what matters.

A new saddle to be back in
So, a 1964 BSA A65SH. Basket case in all is glory. No pipes. No cylinders. A Lot of work.

Broken is a badge
I have decided that broken is a badge that one should wear proudly. It means you did something, or at least tried. You paid a price. You learned, hopefully.
Broken is a chance to put the pieces back together in what order you see fit.

Paperwork is killing life
Police reports, insurance forms, health care surveys...
And now the insurance company is saying that the "salvage" value is $500! What a crock of shit! They just don't want to play fair. Low-balling bastards!

Back in the saddle...
So, after a long hiatus and a near, okay in, the hospital experience...
I am back to share my life on two wheels with, whoever is bored enough to read this.
So, this past Wednesday I was involved in a collision that resulted in a bent sub-frame, broken rear view mirror, broken plastics, and oh yeah, a fractured fibula in my left leg.
No surgery was required, for me. The bike wasn't that lucky.
I'll post details later.
Many people have given me the, "You're crazy" speech, in various forms. My wife keeps getting the same thing. She gets me though, this is just the risk that I accept. Worse could happen in a car, or at home. While I was in the ambulance, a call came in staying that a woman had fallen down the stairs and broke her leg... And had been there since Tuesday! !
What the hell? !
Anyway, good to talk to you all again.
